Siamo gli abitanti, residenti e non residenti, di questo piccolo borgo, una delle 69 frazioni di Amatrice.
Siamo cresciuti qui da piccoli. Siamo cresciuti qui a fette di pane acqua e zucchero. Pane olio sale e aceto a merenda o al massimo a pane e cioccolata (bianca e nera) dentro due fette di pane presa da “pietrella”.
Si quando la nonna ti veniva a cercare per farti mangiare la merenda, e tu chissà dove stavi.
Magari arrampicato su qualche albero, infilato da qualche parte insieme ad un cane pastore maremmano. Magari a giocare con i trattori di legno fatti con i rocchetti del filo da cucire nelle gallerie create sotto le radici del cerro su all’ara.
Siamo cresciuti cosi, con i valori trasmessi da quella gente semplice. I nostri nonni e i nostri genitori.
I valorie che abbiamo sempre mantenuto, siamo cresciuti cosi, con l’amore per questi posti.
Per noi è un posto speciale, un posto che ….. puoi andare in qualsiasi posto del mondo, ma … Non avrai mai staccato dal lavoro, dai casini giornalieri, nemmeno andando alle Seychelles, se non sei stato qualche giorno qui.
Per noi è così, siamo cosi.
Amiamo tutto questo, vorremmo preservarlo, garantirlo, perché i nostri figli possano dire la stessa cosa che diciamo noi.
WHO ARE
We are the inhabitant, resident and not resident, of this little village, one of the 69 hamlets of Amatrice.
We grew up here since childhood, with slices of bread, water and sugar,
oil, salt and vinegar bread for snack or at most bread and chocolate (white or dark), we were going to take the bread from “pietrella grocery store”.
It happened that grandmother came to look for you for giving you the snack and goodness knows where you were.
Maybe climbed up some tree, squeezed into somewhere with a maremma sheepdog, or playing with wooden tractors made with sewing thread spool under the tunnel created with the roots of turkey oak on “Ara” square.
That’s the way we grew up, with the values passed down by simple folk, our grandparents and our parents, and that we have always kept them, that’s the way we grew up, with love for these places.
For us it’s a special place, a place that… you can go anywhere all over the world, but you will never take a break from work, from your daily messes, even going to Seychelles, if you have not been a few days here.
That’s just us.
We love all these things, and we would like to preserve them, to protect them, so that our children can say the same thing we say.
